Like every year, TV channels have jumped onto the frenzied battle of ratings! The extravagance and drama associated with Ramazan transmissions continue in full swing with their package of Sehri, Iftar and Post-Iftar entertainment.
The Holy month is almost coming to an end and the bid for better ratings is still a war that is being waged. Television networks literally leave no stone unturned to offer round-the-clock transmissions to keep the viewers hooked to the screens.
In the first week, we saw ARY Digital amongst entertainment channel taking the throne.
Now, the ratings of the 2nd week and 3rd week of Ramadan are out and to no one’s surprise, ARY Digital is rocking the rating charts in the entertainment category.
Take a look at the average ratings of Sehri, Iftar & Post-Iftar Transmission for 1st Week of Ramadan (9th Ramzan to 15th Ramzan)
A similar set rating is spotted for Sehri, Iftar & Post-Iftar Transmission for 2nd Week of Ramadan (16th Ramzan to 22nd Ramzan)
Amongst entertainment channels, ARY takes the lead in every time slot. Geo did not reap even half of ratings of ARY. Seems like so many hosts on its transmission failed to work their magic.
However, there is a tough competition going on between the terrestrials, ATV and PTV!
Overall, Hum TV is lagging behind in the rating game. One wonders why they did not introduce Ramazan Transmission this year.
TV One whose transmission, being helmed by Sahir Lodhi is at an even poor state in Sehri, Iftar and Post-Iftar rounds.
So clearly, ARY is the winner this year amongst entertainment channels! Kudos to them for acing the rating game in the first week of Ramadan. Let’ see if the trend remains the same for the remaining weeks.
